Lexington County Peach Festival

Tuesday, July 4 from 9am-11pm

Looking for something fun and unique to do on this year’s 4th of July? Then come check out the Lexington County Peach Festival – we promise you won’t be disappointed. There will be various events and activities going on throughout the day including a peach recipe contest, car show, live entertainment, peach parade, and reading of the Declaration of Independence. The event will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display that evening.

2nd Annual South Congaree Championship Rodeo

Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29

If you have ever wanted to see world class cowboy and cowgirls in action, this is the event for you. Come on out to the South Congaree Horse arena in West Columbia for this weekend rodeo event. Not only will you get to enjoy the action of the rodeo in person, but there will also be pony rides, inflatables, a mechanical bull, and food vendors. The arena is covered, so this event will go on rain or shine.

Wild Summer’s Night Auction & Wild Game Feast

Saturday, July 29 from 6-10pm

If you are into hunting and fishing, this is the event for you. Benefitting the South Carolina Wildlife Federation, the Wild Summer’s Night Auction & Wild Game Feast will host nearly 400 guests. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction. Guests will then be treated to a wild game feast that will feature shrimp, venison, duck, quail, catfish, and more. Lastly, it will be time for the live auction. Items that will be auctioned off include hunting and fishing excursions, hunting and fishing equipment, guided birding and wild-life watching trips, jewelry, artwork, and more. There will also be prize drawings and games for everyone to enjoy. Tickets are $75 per person, so go ahead and get yours before the event sells out.
